The best blower for the LT1 is Vortech IMO, but they are not cheap. #2 is Procharger. The Powerdyne is nowhere near the power potential of those 2, but it is quiet due to a belt drive. The best street supercharger is the Vortech V2. Tapping the oil pan is no issue and using engine oil is better than a self-contained unit.
Paxton has some good blowers too, but no kit for the LT1, it would have to be custom. I've always wondered why Paxton has no kit.
