Pops when stomping the throttle

After re-assembling my combination with the 6.66/2.75 pulley combo (13 psi peak boost) on a 8.9/1 compression 355 with AFR 210 Race Ready heads and Crane 210/224 cam and no intercooler, I'm getting a lean backfire as I stomp the gas. Right after it backfires, the power comes on and it pulls hard.

I'm running 42# fuel injectors and a 255 intank and the T-Rex inline pumps. The fuel pressure looks fine at full throttle and the O2 mv hold 870 while at WOT.

This is classic symptoms of not enough accelerator shot. But, last time I checked, the LT-1 doesn't have an accelerator pump, or carburetor for that matter. I've seen where other models have a table in TunerCAT that enables you to adjust the accelerator shot, but I can't seem to find one in my programming.

Anyone have this problem?

Also, I'm installing a TH-350 this weekend. Anyone know which speed sensor fits in there?

Thanks,
Mike

So far as the speed sensor, check a 80's to 90's 1 ton with the turbo 400.. I remember a thread about it being a bolt-in..

Thanks, tex.

I actually figured out that you can get a sensor from DakotaDigital (SEN 01-1) that screws into the TH-350 speedometer drive gear and sends a signal to the computer. But, instead of 40 or 17 pulses per revolution, it's more like 2 or 3, so it will take some fancy programming to make it work. The sensor is $25 instead of the $150 - $200 I would spend on factory sensors and reluctor rings.

ttt for the popping question.

While your looking at Dakota, they also sell a converter box to change the pulse, I had one on a Monte Carlo to convert the stock GM VSS output to a Norsdkog gauge package.. I want to say around $75.. it has a bunch of dip switches, set it and forget it..

Correct, but if you already have TunerCAT (which I do), then reprogramming is free.
