Ok I know I am going to get flamed for making this thread but please hear me out.... I haven't posted on this forum because it hasn't been needed I have gathered majority of my information on my 383 single 76 build from all the the extremely knowledgable veterans on this forum and I thank you All for it
.... But just about wrapping up my build and after countless hours of searching and reading I'm still confused on my PVC evacuation system setup( I think there's just to much info on this site lol) so here's my plan
1 -10 an line from each Valve cover to a vented catch can..... Then I would like to keep the stock system that pulls vacuum from the driver side intake manifold to the throttle body.... Eliminate the pcv valve in the Mani and put a threaded fitting running to a oil seperator than back to the throttle body......the reason for doing it this way and not plumb it to the suck side of my turbo is because I have no room to put a fitting on that side of the turbo... I feel like this will work when the system is under vacuum.... If I eliminate the stock system there will be no ventilation under vacuum.... Just want to knwo what you all feel about this .... Thank you in advance

The problem with that set up is that you'll pressurize the crank case under boost because your retaining the hook up to the TB. Your best option at this point, outside of a vac pump setup, seems to be to just vent the crank case with your catch can setup and eliminate the stock pcv set up.

If I'm not mistaken the manifold (underneath the throttle body) sucks air out of the intake manifold via pcv and tube on the driver side of the car correct ? So if I put a check valve in that line when there is boost I will not pressurize the system.... Unless I have something confused....

That line from pcv valve sucks air out of the crankcase, and yes a check valve there will keep it from being pressurized under boost. The crankcase is fed fresh air by the tube on the pass side which takes metered air from the throttle body and directs it into the valve cover where it is sucked throught the crankcase and back out again by the pvc system.
If you keep the pcv system intact and add two large lines to each valve cover, some unmetered air will be going to the intake, but if you aren't using a MAF it won't matter and it might not matter that much even if you do.
