Giovanni,

sucks to see you're having trouble with your car... Welcome to the world of forced induction Maybe you remember me from cardomain, I go to your school and we saw each other one night back in October or something. I can't wait to see your car man!! Anyhow, just concentrate on the basics now- make sure you're getting a lot of good quality fuel into your motor, and keep the psi low until you can reduce your compression and get some stronger parts into your bottomend. Definitely getting tuning done AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Tuning is the key to keeping your motor going as long as possible until you can cool your charge and build up your bottomend.

Good luck with the car man, keep us posted.

what's up - yea i remember you and your RED camaro...pretty sure it was red.....anyway, yea i wasn't really having major problems yet - it was just not running ideal...but with all the info i have gathered i should be on my way to being able to drive my car without worrying about anything going wrong - now it's just a matter of buying the things i need....once i get the fuel system and plugs in, i should be ok for the time being until i find some more cash to get the boost retard box and MSD ignition......

oh, when you say build the bottom end...what do you mean by that exactly?

A bottom end refers to the rotating assembly inside the motor. Basically you want a stronger crank, better rods, and lower compression, forged pistons so you can run more boost.

ok gotcha - yea that is what i was thinking but now i kno for sure.....well at peak my charger is supposed to put out 8 psi of boost...it is a 6 - 8 lb boost charger.....i dont plan on going higher than 8 psi.....but of course, i would def love to upgrade the bottom end if i can...but not now...for now i will stick to upgrades that will keep me from blowing my camaro up and running how it should, but yeah, i kno what you mean...thanks

Giovanni, I would also definitely suggest the chip. Check out www.pcmforless.com, they can burn you a chip for pretty cheap. I just got my PCM tuned there for 100 bucks, can't beat that. With enough fuel and a tune, you should be okay for a while.

How's she feel with the supercharger on?

(and yes, my car is red)

hey...yea i heard of that site...a bunch of peopel have given me that link and told me to get that chip for my car....add that to the list of things i should get um..well from the 1000 to 3300 RPM range she is pretty quick.....but after that the bogging comes in....basically that is about where the piont comes where my fuel pump cant maintain the fuel i need and my stock plugs screw up......but before the RPM range where the problem occurs, she's pretty good.....obviously i realize now she can get much quicker since i am running a 6-8 lb psi charger on a stock LT1...no wonder she cant perform how she should and no wonder my charger dont whine like i thought it would.....ehhh..... ..... aside from the bogging at 3500 RPM she was doing good
