A little Help Please

I sold my 98WS6 last fall. Now I am looking to get something I can do a blower on. I have two choices:

1.) Get a car with low miles and spend more money on the car and just do a blower until I need to rebuild.

2.) Buy a car with higher miles less money and do a blower and a bottom end build at the same time.

I am not looking for insane fast, I would just like the mid 11's to always be just a dropped foot away, and be reliable.

By the way, I was looking at having LS1Motorsports do all the work, what do you think?

Thanks,

Bill

option 2 all the way, the stock engine componets are not very good for a FI setup. If you can just find one with a blown motor and tranny, then you will know their new. FI setups cost enough money as is may as well save on car price. I wish I would have went this way myself. There have been guys on here with a 100k boosted engines fine and some with .5k motors that have blown. build a good forged 355/383/396 and be done...Then tranny, then rear, ,then, then ,then!!

Dude, buy one that is already done like "Mike383LT1" or my 9-sec turbo car for $30,000.00. Either way you will save money, especially if you plan on having someone do most of the work.

O-ya, by the way, Mike383LT1's car is a steel. You will not be able to get all that stuff for under $30,000.00. I think he is asking $18,000.00 OBO. If you can afford it, don't pass it up.

Hey Arthur, You guys want to do my new car. How is Bruce doing? You guys did a great job on my last car, hated to sell it.

I am looking to do a plain jane camaro z28 or TA. Nothing special, just want to dump a new motor and turbo or supercharger. Is an LS6 short block any stronger than the LS1?

Thanks,

Bill
