Paxton Charger Installed - What Upgrades Do I Need Now!? HELP HELP!!!!

Ok ... i just installed a 6-8 lb boost paxton s-charger and the

model i got does not require me to upgrade any engine

componets ex. pistons/piston heads etc. It is on my 93 Camaro

LT1 motor. THE PROBLEM is that now my car is downshifting at

about 2500RPM when before i had it installed it would shift at

about 1900RPM. IT'S AUTOMATIC and when i say shift i mean

when the car shifts byitself under regular driving conditions....not

speeding or racing just chill driving. Also, when i get on the gas and the RPM's hit about 4700 RPM the car backfires and doesnt shift not letting me accelerate any further unless i get off the gas and hit the gas again...get that ? shifting issue basically, car not kicking back down and allowing further accelleration

AGAIN my car is automatic and when i say shift i mean the regular shifting that the car is programmed to do.

Do i need to recalibrate my stock computer?

I'LL TAKE ANY SUGGESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She's a ****ing beast but i cant unleash her !!! she's being held back !!!! and i dont know why !!!!!!

I would highly recommend getting your chip reprogrammed. Also not to be an a-hole but you will learn that the statement below is false.

model i got does not require me to upgrade any engine

For 93's there is a E-prom chip that gets reprogrammed. I would contact PCMforless.

I would be easy on the car till you get it runing right. Im sure you have fuel issues and it will blow up.

My sc kit also said no upgrades needed and its total crap. Many people have blown their motors here from this reason. I would do some searchs and see what the basics are.

possible problems; lean/fuel, ignition,opti, chip

my coolant leaked out because a hose was touching the charger pulley and the pulley sliced right through it - itz been relocated so no more leaks and the coolant is not a problem anymore.......as for the shifting issue....is shifts fine now...the injector plate that was installed behind the throttle body caused the cables to become stretched out....the cable just had to be adjusted....since it was stretched out it was holding the gear too long...so that is taken care of also.....

ONE LAST PROBLEM....when i step on it at about 47 - 5 k RPM she still stutters ...... i was told that because there is so much pressure my stock gas pump cant pump out enough gas at a constant pressure for long enough...does that make sense ?? = ) any ideas on what it may be

ummm. How about quit driving it before you blow the damn thing up. It is probably running lean as hell.

Get the tuning DONE. Do not drive it until that. If it still shutters then check your OPTI or distributer.

There is NO sense in driving/beating on the car till all bugs are worked out.
