Passed smog again!
Hey guys, just FYI, since this is the blower forum. The parts used are in my signature. I cleaned the t-body and MAF before I went in. It seemed to run smoother than ever. I had to go to 3 places to smog it, the first 2 guys didn't want to touch it.
Here are the numbers:
@15 mph: HC = 27 (max=83)
CO% = .03 (max = .48)
NO = 236 (max = 689)
@25 mph: HC = 27 (max=48)
CO% = .03 (max =.46)
NO = 243 (max = 706)
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, it's basically a stock tune except for the increased idle speed, fans come on earlier (around 190 deg), and modified injector constant to compensate for the bigger injectors. So if anybody doubts this cam to pass, I've laid that to rest.

Ed, Is that your everyday tune you passed with? My cam is a 228/236 and I had to try about 8 different tunes and finally lock my blm's to pass also here in CA, As soon as I passed I switched back to my daily driver tune. My car also runs great normally but maybe a little on the rich side.

Yes, it's my everyday tune I've been running for about 4 years now. I haven't had much time to tinker around with the car lately, more of my time has been put towards my house...
Does your 228/236 cam have a 112 or 114 lsa? If it is 112, that would probably explain the difficulty you had in passing it. Another factor is valve overlap. I picked my cam not only because it matches well with the supercharger, but has very little overlap (I think 2 degrees). The grind is spec'd from Combination Motorsports, it's the popular Comp cams XE 224/236 at 114 lsa, standard lift version. You know, your extra 4 degrees on the intake is significant. That may have put you over the edge.
I've been using 42 lb svo injectors for years now, they run great.
