P600B intake ducting & Mac headers

I'm working on plumbing my P600B with the Mac mid length headers. The intake for the blower is really tight to the #1 tube. I've wrapped the header tube near the blower for heat shielding. I'm looking at getting a 90 degree 4" elbow and cutting it to fit there, and then piping over to the CAI location for the K&N filter. The silicone elbows are good to 350 degrees. I have no idea how hot it will get in there.

I'll be running a front mount IC with 3" in/out. According to the book Turbochargers by Hugh MacInnes, to compute charge air temperature, a complex formula is used. I plugged in some numbers at 8 PSI and 90 degrees ambient, and it looks like my blower outlet temp should be around 190 degrees (at 15 PSI, it would be around 260). This is well within the silicone hose heat range. My main concern is the intake being so close to the header.

Anyone else running this combo? If so, how did you duct your intake to the blower?
