p1sc vs. d1sc, streetability and a/c

Hey guys.

I have a basically all bolton 95 lt1 with a noisy rod bearing. I need to rebuild soon, and am thinking of going with a blower route.

I have a nitrous works 75-175 wet kit on the car. Would possibly like to keep the ability to spray 75 still from time to time with boost, but i'm not sure if that would be viable or smart.

Was thinking to keep the costs down, i could go with a good 355 rotating assembly, all 4340 parts and quality pistons/rings, but retain the stock heads and camshaft. I would like to keep the stock 2 bolt mains with some ARP main studs (and head studs). Will this work, or, do i have to go with splayed 4 bolt main caps as well?
A 383 would be nice, but then we get into the whole "stock heads are too small" for a 383, and buying heads/cam/related stuff plus blower would blow my budget
I would lie to keep the car streetable and would like to keep my A/C.
I am jus looking for advice from guys that have done blown 355 combos. I was told d1sc kit might require the removal of A/C, but was also told i might be able to buy a p1sc kit with an upgraded head unit and keep my A/C. Is this true?

Would there be any chance of spraying 75 with this combo at all with modest boost?

I have an m6 car and 4.10s. I plan on going 12 bolt, so a gear change at that time would be possible to something more blower friendly.

Let me know what you think guys, and if my combo is totally out to lunch. I just think that not spending money on heads/cam/port work would save me some for a blower kit. No matter what i do, will still need a quality rotating, so don't want to skimp out there.

What kind of hp numbers can i be looking at with 355 on/off nitrous? Would a cam change be smart at this point for the few extra bux it is?

Thanks guys.

I have a D1SC with the factory AC system. No reason you can't keep the AC if you want to. Also, You could use unported heads with the blower but you'll be leaving some HP on the table. With the blower though, I don't think you have to worry about the heads being too small. And do the 4 bolt mains. Not much more in cost when doing a shortblock.

Since you have an m6, i would go with a nine inch rear...6 speeds tend to break ****...I have 4.11's in my 9 inch with 596 rwhp, and it accelerates extremely fast. I built my shortblock with srp pistons, eagle h-beams, and eagle forged crank, stock ported heads, and the 224/236 114 lsa comp cam. on 11 psi, I made 596..If you go 4 bolt mains, run ~15 psi, and spray a 75 shot...your looking at an easy 750 rwhp. With a nice set of heads, and a brutal camshaft of course
