P1SC...pro and cons

Wanting to go with this setup and would like some feedback. I plan on running a P1SC @ 10+psi w/ a 3 core sheetmetal intercooler.

What do you want to know? Do we like the setup? Or how long do we expect a stock bottom end to handle 10+ psi of boost?

I was mainly talking about whether or not anyone has had any problems with the system. Here is the setup that I want to go with

forged 355 @ 9:1 cr
AI full port LT1 heads
cc 224/236 blower cam
P1SC @ 10psi or maybe even a D-1SC
ATI 3 core sheetmetal intercooler

All in all I doubt I will ever want to go higher than 15psi...what are your opinions on this?

It's not a bad setup. Have you given any thoughts to doing a stroker vs. the 355. Or maybe even a turbo setup. Personally, I'd shoot for lower compression and go with 15 PSI from a D1 or T trim.

no, I think I want to stay around 500ish hp. I think I would either do one of the 3: stroke it, blow it, or turbo it. I thought of a turbo but, I think after it is said and done I would spend more on a turbo setup than a blower setup.

I think you will probably encounter a problem when trying to push 15 lbs out of the P1SC with that setup. Also if your goal is only to make 500 rwhp then there is no need for a sheetmetal intercooler. I would recommend going with the twin high flows (probably a cheaper route). I think the P1SC with the proper tune will make 500 rwhp at 10lbs of boost.
