P1SC guys inside please...

Real Quick- For those of you that had the 6psi Procharger P1SC kit and have since upgraded pulleys to the 8 or 9 lb setup, what size did you go with?

I'm talking stock to near stock motors/heads and near stock RPM levels. I understand boost is resistance, blah blah. I just need someone to come out and tell me how they got to 9pounds without the typically evasive answers.

Thank you!

Steve

Steve, on a small block with the P1SC its about 1 psi per .100"-.125" change in pulley diameter. As the kits are put together with your particular setup and elevation in mind the actual diameter required to get there will vary between cars.

Hope that helps.

In case that sounds evasive you'll want to run a pulley .300-.400" smaller than what you have now if you're currently getting 6 psi.

Mark, thats not evasive- I appreciate your answer!

Kraest, I am putting the new shortblock in, and while I save for the heads and a suitable cam... I wanted more boost and and more fuel while I do that. Thanks for the suggestion though.
