Is adding octane boost to a supercharged car that you run premium fuel in a good or bad idea... I also ran fuel injector cleaner in it before I put it away for winter... is their any kind of fuel injector cleaner of octane booster that people recommend over other brands... thanks,

 

its a waste of money....i if you run 93 octane, and you put in "octane booster" that give you "8 points" you now have 93.8 octane...

IMO, your better off going to home depot and doing a Xylene/Toulene mix....

but if your not detonating, you dont need it...basically the higher the octane rating, the higher the flashpoint, you'll lose power and fuel efficiency.

 

octane booster = waste o money. for the money you spend on that stupid stuff you could have gotten like a gallon or two of race gas which would have done alot more for you than octane booster.
