o-ringing the heads

I have blown 2 FELPRO 1074's head gaskets on my motor and was wondering about what is needed or if it can even be done on our lt1's. How much would a good machine shop charge if you have already done this? This is the ultimate solution to blown head gaskets, correct? Any help is apreciated.
Thanks
Ray

Search the topic. Check your tune a good set of studs will hold the heads down, ive been running 20psi with no problems for over 8,000 miles

Don't o ring !!!!. I made that mistake, I have a coolant leaking mess. Race car ok, street car forget it. I've had the heads off twice. First time I assembled motor myself, it leaked even though I used copper spray and silicone. Second time took motor to engine builder and had them assemble, guess what its leaking again. So I have a short with 3000.00 in machining I can't run a regular (cometic) gasket on and now I have to put up with this bull untill I build another short
