Nitrous with blower...

What does anyone think about running a small nitrous system on a blower motor? This is my setup:

383ci. LT1
Callies Forged Crank
Callies Forged I Beam Rods (5.85)
Ross Custom Thermal Barrier Coating Pistons
Comp Cams solid roller cam
Comp Cams roller rockers Comp Cams High Tech push rods and springs
Morgan Motor Sport ported AFR 220 heads with stainless valves
Hooker Super Comp Full Length Headers
4" Mufflex Exhaust System
Vortech V7 YS trim blower @ 12psi
Vortech 7' crank pulley - 3.33' blower pulley
Vortech By-pass valve
Vortech After Cooler
1000hp Morgan Motor Sport fuel system
Accell 72lb injectors
K&N 4" Inlet
MSD Digital 7AL - Built in Two Step, High Speed Retard, etc...
MSD Pro Power coil
MSD Boost retard
MSD Super Conductor plug wires
Accel DFI Computer
BBK 58 MM throttle body
Meziere electric water pump

It's making 752rwhp/626rwtq but I'd like to get a little more out of it...say a 50 shot?

Thanks,
Wes Buck

Not sure what that has to do with running Nitrous... you will probably spray after the aftercooler anyhow. Spraying Nitrous does not increase the amount of air being pulled through the aftercooler if it is sprayed after it.

It's a great combo, if it's done right. Bring a small nitrous shot in relatively low when you aren't getting much boost and turn it off when the boost comes up. Last year I was running 13-14lbs of boost and a 150hp nitrous shot. Brought the nitrous in at 3,200rpm and off at 5,400. This year I am running more boost, and will be using a smaller nitrous shot in the same way.

Cautions? Run it rich (I am running 11.5-12:1 with the N2O), run low compression (mine's 8.5:1) and strong forged pistons. Retard the timing with N2O (mine's at 27 degrees). Use race gas (100 octane unleaded, 104 this year for me). Have fun!
