new cam specs.....what do you think?

234/ 240 dur. .572"/ .580" lift (w/1.6rr) 114 lsa. It's going in the new motor hopefully this weekend.


Ported heads 2.02/ 1.60
4 bolt block
Cola crank
stock rod w/arp bolts
SRP blower pistons

To get off the subject a little, But why are you sticking with stock rods?

I bought my friends entire car that he just built and wrecked for $1500. The motor was just put together two weeks ago, so I figured it was a deal I couldn't pass up. I have a set of Eagle H-beams and Wiseco pistons that will be going in before the motor does.

Sounds pretty good, if that was an LS1 you'd have to spin it over 7000.

I am running a 230/237//115 cam in my 348ci LS1 and since the blower will move the power peak up 500 rpms I will be spinning at 7200 (estimated).

Yea John, I think the cam's powerband is alot higher than the blower's is.
