This was on a completely new setup, 2nd pass down the track. I'm happy with it. I was easy on it out of the hole as I only have a Spec 3 clutch and a STOCK T56. If I can get the 60' down a bit I may be able to squeek a 9.9x out of it.

I was launching at about 4000, but not dropping the clutch... kinda just letting it out like I would from a stop light.

is it spinning? Dead hooking? Whats going on?
If you can leave harder without spinning than do so, that will help out the most.
That 9.90 is a long way away from your 10.50, not saying that you cant do it. But every tenth is going to take a lot more. But on the other hand you mph is there, so its really how well can you get that thing to 60ft.
Any weight loss plans? (you and the car?)
Whats done to the suspension?

I had a lot of air in the tires (18 psi), so it was spinning just a bit. I was not going WOT until maybe a second into the run, like I said I was trying to keep the clutch and tranny alive. I wanted to get a few clean passes on it before I really launched it hard and possibly break something.

The MPH is there for a 9.xx pass, so yes, if I can get the 60' down about another .20 or so, I might be able to squeek one out.

The car still has 100% stock front suspension (including deCarbon struts!), so I'd love to be able to lighten it up with some tubular stuff, but the funds are kinda tight right now. Eventually it will get lighter. As for myself, I have lost about 25 lbs since Jan 1, and have about 10 more to go, so there is not alot there.

The rear suspension is all chromoly with rod ends, so it's all taken care of there; but it does still have stock springs and Sensa-track shocks.

You suck

Nice run man. I look forward to seeing what the car is REALLY capable of, and even more looking forward to seeing it in person when you head back to the Fort.

Thanks man, too bad the GMHTP guy 'didn't have time' to shoot it. He even made several remarks that he liked it a lot.

if you want some cheap, but decent drag shocks, the summit brand are pretty good for $30/piece.
