Shootout Entrants,

First of all, thanks to everyone for being patient with our transition at GMHTP. This shootout was started by Johnny Hunkins months ago, but due to his current circumstances he was unable to continue planning it. I am happy to report that it will go on as scheduled, and since Jim M. has done a great job at keeping you all posted with new information, I got a ton of entries on my desk. The bad news is that you can't all come––for now.

Those who have been chosen have already been contacted via phone or email, but the entries that weren't have been filed and will be considered for future shootouts, something that GMHTP will be doing a lot more of in the future. I appreciate your interest in GMHTP and would welcome any and all emails at rick.jensen@primedia.com

Thanks for coming to the board and letting us know what up over at GMHTP. I for one have been a subscriber for about 4 years now. Hopefully things won't change much as far as the content. Please keep up the goof work, and don't be a stranger.

i hope you guys picked some LT1 cars that will trully show what LT1s are capable of. It would be nice to see LT1s wax the track with the hopes and dreams of that other motor owners.
