need help...timing,race gas 12psi...
OKay guys I have been running my car 7PSI for a while now on 91octane NO meth and intercooled
I am going to the track in 2 days and plan on upping to 10-12psi on racegas.(prob 100+)
What do you guys timming numbers look like?
Currently i am playing it safe 19-20* timing on 7psi.
Compression is 9.78:1.

9.5:1 Static (383ci - LT1 block).
JE -28cc blower pistons/ Callies/ Eagle H-beam rods/ large bearing clearances. AFR heads. LT1 uses reverse cooling (heads first). That helps, but the Evans with no thermostat is what works. Thats with a 7psi cap. Much power is lost with dial back on timing. I don't do it @ all. Another big power added is an external crank driven VAC pump. Regulated @ 1/3 atm for a wet sump. Seals the rings for more cylinder pressure, less blow-by.
All on 93 octane. B.
