Need Help Finding cold air intake pipe for supercharger

Does anyone know where i can find a cold air intake pipe for a powerdyne supercharger? I have a 1996 Z28 LT1. I need the pipe from the air filter to the supercharger head unit. Recently bought the car & it has a piece of clothes dryer vent pipe for the air intake pipe ?!?!?!?!

I assume you still have the poly-elbow for the inlet ON the supercharger body. PowerDyne did use heavy duty 'dryer vent" tubing from that piece to get past the sway bar. I tried to eliminate the dryer hose and improve the inlet side of things and found rhe following company on the web.
boostController.com has silicone and aluminum pipes and tubing plus other things ... about 1/2 down the following webpage (silicone couplers) is the 3" 90° elbow I used
http://www.boostcontroller.com/index...89b1b0a950807b
with the the 10" leg it gets past the bar smoothly. I used some 3" pvc pipe and a 3" pvc run elbow from Lowes (3" OD in - 4" OD out) to get up into the fender (through a hole I made in the flexible splash shield under the fender well) The 4" OD outlet let me use a much larger filter (4" x 9" cone filter from Summit)
Good Luck

You will probably get better results on the "Forced Induction" forum. I'll move your post there.

Thanks for the info. I will definetely use it. That looks like exactly like what i was looking for. Also thanks to Injuneer for moving me to the correct forum. I didn't realize there was a forced induction forum as this is my first time to this website.

Thanks for the link NJ-LE, i need to replace that section of tubing on my vortech kit and didn't want to have to order the same dryer hose junk from vortech

My pleasure.
ISTR (at least with the PowerDyne) when I trimmed back the leg to the supercharger "banjo" tube with a hacksaw, that it gave me a 3" x 3" silicone coupling that I used elsewhere.

Maryflint:

The silcone rubber elbow I used can be found on this page: http://www.boostcontroller.com/index.php?category=34 (near the bottom of the page) They also have a good selection other silicone and aluminum tubing.

The 3" pvc pipe I used was schedule 40, which is thick enough to drill holes and tap a few threads for the Opti purge and PCV supply line fittings.

I found the 3" run elbow at a local Lowes but it should be available at Home Depot or any building supply and the 4" x 9" cone filter is from Summit.

I don't know where to find an original "banjo" pipe for the inlet to the SC itself. I did cross wrap mine with quality duct tape to strengthen it. A kind of poor man's bias ply belting topped off with aluminum foil tape to reflect away some of the heat from header tube #1 which is close to it.

I do have a photo of the assembly I can pm to you.

I thought that ATI/Procharger/Vortech have a similar tight, flattened inlet pipe in aluminum but I couldn't find inlet parts pictures on their websites.
