Question need a blower cam for LT1

Does anyone know of good street blower cam for stock heads? The engine is in the process of being a fully forged 355 right now and i need to know what a good cam would be.

CC XE lobes 3190/3192 on a 114LSA with a 114 degree intake center line.

214/224

These lobes are high lift: .530"/.567" with 1.5 rockers and .565"/.605" with 1.6's. So, first, you have to make sure your heads are able to tolerate that much lift without retainer/seal clearance issues, then you have to install a set of valve springs with alot of seat pressure (135 - 145 lb) to control the valvetrain under the aggresive ramps and make sure they don't coil bind.

Another option would be to use the 3313/3315 lobes for 218/230 on the same lobe centers Rich recommended above. This would give you .495"/.510" lift with 1.5's or .528"/.544" with 1.6's. This cam would be easier to set up , but would have less power throughout the rpm range than the 214/224 cam.

Personally, I use the high lift 224/236 lobes for .605" intake and .593" exhaust lift with 1.6 I and 1.52 E rockers, but this cam is probably a bit more than you're looking for.

The NX276HR is a nice blower cam, I belive that's the one Brook has for sale. The duration is 224/236 @ .50 and I believe the lift is .502/.520 with 1.5 rockers. .535/.555 with 1.6 rockers. I'm looking at this same cam for when my stock engine bites the big one.

I just bought that CC 218-230 .528-.544 profile from Thunder racing....I'm only going to run 9 psi (at first) but they say it's a good street\strip cam....Anyone currently running one?

It should idle fairly decent. As far as powerband, I think Comp advertises 2000-6000 RPM.
