Just a thought...but even after an intercooler, "blow through" would probably attribute a warmer air temperature reading than "pull through" causing a leaner AFR.
I'm thinking if it was "pull through", the air charge would reading would be cooler and possibly more dense setting up a fatter air/fuel mix for optimum power.

The MAF measures massflow, so the temperature in this case is going to be irrelevant (as it's the mass you are concerned about).
I would set it up as blow through as I have had better luck tuning cars with that setup.

If you set it up blow-through, then you can route your bypass valve to atmosphere and it would make that cool sound when you let of the gas.
With draw-through, you have to route the bypass valve to somewhere after the MAF.
There are also some theories about the air being more dense on the discharge of the blower, so the MAF is less of a restriction as blow-through.

Good info, but the IAT is also located "pre - MAF" which is what I'm referring to.
I was pretty sure that air temperature would also effect the MAF readings as the wire elements are sensitive to temperature. I recall reading that in a tech article, however I don't remember the source.
Can someone confirm, or correct my assumption?

The maf itself has a hot wire and a cold wire - the cold wire being at ambient, the hot heating up to a certain delta - so temperature corrections are inherent to the design - the IAT in a MAF care really only effects spark timing.
