LT1 turbo drain to oil pan...

I have a kevco lt1 oil pan for my LT1 which is the same as a canton oil pan. My question is can I drill and weld on the top on the extentions of the oil pan for a turbo oil return line?

You can put an oil drain on top of the kick outs. The canton 242t has one on the passenger side. Keep in mind that you're going to need a downward slope for the drain and running it back there you will have quite a few obstructions in the way.

Anyone happen to know the size of the dip stick provision threads on the canton? I'm planning on using that for my drain...

I did that on my moroso pan and I'm pretty sure the kickouts are below the oil level line so you will need a pump I think. Gravity fed will not circulate too good if im correct. I ended up planning on tapping at the top of the pan above the oil level line.
