LT1 Supercharger
I think your best bet would be to do a search. You will find that ATI P1SC and Vortech S-trim will be the most popular for a stock application. It really comes down to whether or not you want to run an intercooler or not.

So you want a supercharger
I have an LT1 Z28, 1993, and as the result of a supercharger, my car has been sitting in the garage since 1999. It's sitting because I grew tired of spending money on transmission breakage, overheating, and replacing components that keeps the thing running. Initially I thought about sending my car to Lingenfelter performance, but I felt that supercharging had the power to cost ration advantage. After spending all of the money that I have spent on my car, Lingenfelter would have been cheaper. If you want to enjoy your car put a mild gear in it, heads and cam, headers, and other proven bolt-ons. Trust me, If you supercharge make sure you have another Camaro to drive, because the supercharged one will give you joy, but only for a short time. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention my motor was rebuilt.

Im sorry but you must have done no research before building your car. I have had 10k on my sc setup and no problems knock on wood. If you build it right there is no reason for it to have reliabilty issues. If money is an issue on the other hand heads cam is what you want. I have around 15k in my entire setup with car price, you might be able to buy a ligenfelter window sticker for that.
94SLUG, What he said, If you just bolt on a blower on a stock LT1 you will have problems sooner or later, If you build a short block and do heads , Cam etc. knowing your building it for a blown application you shouldn't have any problems as long as you get the tune right. It's like anything else , Get some $ together, Take your time and do a little research and you should have a dependable car, I wouldn't hesitate in driving mine across the country and back

94SLUG, don't get me wrong, supercharging can be a wonderful thing if you do all of the fortifying first. My motor was rebuilt to handle the load of a supercharger but only after going through the hell of it being on a stock motor. I was only informing 94Camarov6ss that supercharging is not as simple as the companies want the consumer believe. In reality in order for a supercharger to work, one should fortify the motor, trans, rear end, and address the cooling needs that is inherent with the added power. I visited your site and I must say your motor is built for the task of supercharging.

They wouldn't sell many if they instead promulgated the idea that "for reliable use of our SC you will a $6,000+ shortblock and at least $4,000 in driveline upgrades". Yes, it can be done with a reasonalbe degree of reliability, but it is expensive and time consuming.

Thanks for getting my drift. I just want to save guys a little money so they won't become disgruntled with their project.
