Re: LT1 Boost PT88 Build

Jon, just a couple more details...

I noticed that on your website when you build the hot side pipes that you sometimes go under the front sway bar, but mine is removed and probably won't be going on anytime soon, just in case that makes it easier for you.

Also I will be deleting the ABS with the SJM mfg delete kit too. Not sure if that gives you even more room maybe.

Both are details I need to know... and make things easier for sure!

Thanks! Yeah, the benefit of building lots of kits is that you continously learn and make the kits better as you go.

Re: LT1 Boost PT88 Build

Looking good- can def see the improvement of your kits over the years.

-I think its about time you get some tabs made to weld on the headers to promote your business a little...def work you should be proud of.

Re: LT1 Boost PT88 Build

Thanks man. I have thought about that before and looked around online, but couldn't find a place to make them. Do you have any ideas on this?

I googled "custom metal label" and "custom CNC labels" and got a few hits from companies that looked decent. The problem is all of them obviously need to know what you want to give a quote on price- but I have known most places to be pretty pricey per piece unless you are ordering a large quantity.

Simplest way I can think would be to just buy a set of metal punches and then just type out with each letter what you wanted it to say. Just use a small 1"x3ish" tab of metal, say 16 or 18 gauge welded onto the top primary tube. Simple as saying for instance on this kit...

edit..^^ the lines won't line up but you get the idea..

Easy way to track the kits down the road too- esp when they get bought/sold/modified etc. At least you'll know what it started as.
