Hey guys ..im thinking about slapping a supercharger on my car...and while all of the companies are trying to quiet it dwn ..i like the supercharger whine and was wondering whih one puts off the coolest tone ...but still ahs high performance...j ust wondering..

The ones that have straight cut gears are going to be the loudest. I believe paxton units use them, or did at one point, I'm not positive.... otherwise, you slap a big enough vortec or ATI on there, and you'll hear it, dont worry. Try a D1 or an F1

 

The V1 S and T trims are pretty loud as well. As stated, anything with straight cut gears is going to make some noise.

 

thanks guys...i knw its kinda a lame question since everyone is tryingto get quiet these days...lol but i just always associated that supercharger whine with having alot of power and sounding really cool wen it winds up...

Paxton is what you're looking for, I have a friend with a Paxton race blower on his 03 Cobra and you can hear that mother from a mile away.

 

My brothers novi 2k is quiet as hell so is my d1. S-trims are the loudest I have heard.

 

I have owned the P600b, D1SC and F1 will say hands down the P600b was the loudest.

 

My Eaton M90 is pretty damn loud.....so are a few whipples.

 

Yea, I have to agree the s-trim and the p600 are pretty damn loud.

 

My p600b is the loudest one I have heard so far. But it only whines around idle to about 1500rpms. Then I can't hear anything. I thought it would get louder before I got one but apparently it doesn't.

 

sounds like my s-trim...around 1200rpm its ear piercing loud, like literally i have had fast food drive through places screaming at me to have my friend stop whistling while i talk. when i pull around and the car is whistling they just look at me odd and my friend just laughs and i say "Belt tensioner is worn" and they ask for me to turn my car off next time.

if you want to hear my s-trim idling, i have a vid clip (please dont alot of people D/L it, its on angelfire and will chew up my space for other stuff)
