Nice runs and congratulations on a very well setup car. Looks like a pretty even race. I would like to see what the cars would do from a dead stop.

 

Thanks. Yeah, it was a very close match up. We both agreed my car had the slight edge both in traction down low in 1st gear, and in power, but he really isn't far behind.

We both had tubular suspension and drag radials that were already warm. I'm sure with that setup from a dead stop we would be spinning all over the place worse than the first race we did from a roll. Perhaps if we both had our slicks on that would make a difference.

Last year when my Nitto DR's were new, they used to hook up great, now the spin in 1st gear pretty good .

Nice job! Great video work and editing too. Cars seemed to be closely matched with the edge going to the Camaro. Hard to call any street racing responsible but not crazy speeds and nobody flying by at the end.
