Intro and stuff...
Hello all.
This is Wallace from Little Rock. I don't really have an F-Body per se, what i have is a hybrid:

Click on "The Truck"
Anyway, is is a 1992 GMC stepside with a 1993 F-Body OBD1 ECU running a fully built and prepped LT1 (1996 block)
Here are some specs:
Vortech "T-Trim"
8.4:1 compression with custom JE Pistons, coated
AFR Heads
MSD Pro Billet Opti
MSD 6 BTM Ignition and Crane Coil
Manley Pro Flow valves
Lunati Crank
Pro Mod Rods
TH400 tranny "Switch Pitch" and Gear Vendors Ovedrive
3:42 rear end with Coil-overs and Ladder bar setup, 4-Link
Custom Interior, too.
Anyway, I just had the motor completely rebuilt. Previous tune was with a 4" pulley and 36lb injectors at 8.5:1. I have since added 42lb injectors and I am in need of some tuning help/advice. I am glad to have found this board as it looks like a wealth of information is available.
Thanks!

Re: Intro and stuff...
Tell me more about your switch-pitch tranny. I had one of those once but never used it in anything.
I wasn't aware they made one with a Chevrolet bellhousing pattern either, do you use an adaptor plate?
Cool truck BTW.

Re: Intro and stuff...
I got the Chevy case from a Race Shop in NY, but I forget the name. They are hard to find! The original parts are out of a 1965-66 Olds 98, and I took out the internals I needed, added HD Sprag, Race Clutches, Shift Kit, did all the performance mods such as drilling and blocking specific paths in the valve body, etc.
I forgot to mention I also changed the pulley to a 3" one, so now I graduate to more boost...hence the 42lb injectors that I am pretty sure I am about to swap out ot 60's...

Re: Intro and stuff...
wallacehat I think you have talked to my buddy Tapout911 before here in Paragould AR. If not then their is another 92 GMC stepside with a Blower and AFR heads, lol.
I have a Similiar setup to yours that should be going together over the winter.
If you want to step up the injectors go with the 60lb mototrons, thats what I have and a lot of 700RWHP+ guys run those with great success.
Are those AFR Heads 210's out of the box???
I can't remember the max Blower speed on a T-Trim but with my D1SC I have a 3.2 Blower pulley and I plan to get the 7.625 crank pulley. Blower RPM will be 60571 out of the availabe 62000 at 6200RPM.
I would like to talk setups with ya sometime, and I know a Few Tricks to making that blower run better Pm me if yoo want. What power level are you at right now??? Later man and welcome to the Forum.
