Re: Intercooler mount pics
Nice work--thanks for sharing. A front mount IC is next on my want list. Would like to see some pictures of how you did the bottom. Also tell us more about your car. That is a heck of an intercooler.
Re: Intercooler mount pics
i have a fully forged 383 stroker waiting to be put back in and will be running a sts turbo with the gt-67 at around 10 lbs of boost. My compression ratio is at 8.2:1, trying to give myself plenty of options down the road.
The bottom tube is 32 1/2, and the top is 31 1/2, they both come out 7 inches.
I will try to get some pictures of the bottom support tomarrow, just got back from detroit tonight.

My tubing is 1 1/8 with a 3/16 sidewall. My family makes lawn mowers so i had access to a tube bender for the tubing.
Here are some pictures of the lower mount, sorry i dont have any on the car, it just got powder coated.

and we havent test fit the front clip yet, but im pretty sure that it will fit over it.

Re: Intercooler mount pics
Looks good! Can you post pics of the lower bracket on the car? If it looks good I'm sure a few guys on this board would be more than happy to buy the intercooler brace and lower support mount.
