Re: How much RWHP to run 91mph

Sorry for the wait. Couldn't find the 12.52 but this will work.

10/17/02
60' 1.77
330 5.18
1/8et 8.003
1/8mph 87.73
1/4ET 12.54
1/4MPH 107.62

Heres the other night, stock cam vortech 355 and a six speed.

60' 2.33
330 5.85
1/8 ET 8.60
1/8MPH 90.91

That was with me babying the car (stock clutch, stock rear). I figured what the hell and tried to lanch it. (remington tires).. Got a decent launch but my guess is the clutch warmed cause slipped significantly between 1-2 and 2-3

60' 2.03
330 5.55
1/8et 8.34
1/8mph 90

I just noticed, that 60ft and 1/8th et are both down by exactly .3 tenths.. kinda goes to show you that the clutch was slipping pretty good. I would expect a bigger drop in 1/8ET with a drop in 60'.. 1.5 for ever tenth in the quarter.. what is it for 1.8th?

Re: How much RWHP to run 91mph

btw.. it seems like when my car was a heads cam car (the 12.50) I sprayed a 100 shot on street tires and went 8.30 a 91.. that old setup made 343. + 100?? for the shot..

I guess i won't know until i dyno it.
