Sure. I used to drive my LT1 with a stock shortblock, ported heads and P600b to work everyday. The saying when building a car: reliable, fast, cheap. Pick two. You'll have to spend more to make it reliable but it's doable. May not be practical though.

Yes, you can do that. Just make sure your street tune is very conservative.

I drive mine 3 to 4 times a week. Definitly not a garage queen.

I drive mine about 12,000 miles a year and beat on it every trip. I have 30,000 miles on a budget shortblock I only spent $1500 on. Its all in the tuning and machinework.

Sure, I built mine tough and can take it 300 miles away to a car show if I want. It's not a DD, but it doesn't break down at all. Only has minor issues from time to time like any other car.

As everyone has told you, you can make a supercharged lt1 reliable and even drive it everyday. But you have to understand that your driving a high hp motor everyday, which is going to require you to maintain it better. And its going to cost you so be prepared for it.
Everyones joking saying "dont drive it" thats because the cost per mile on a 600/600rw car are going to be a lot. Things are going to break, need constant attention, and be problematic. But thats hows its going to be on a car with that power level. Its never smooth sailing.

Have refined my combo over the last 4 years.
The first year I was constantly fixing tuning and chasing problems created by so called expert labour and advice, over the last 2 years I havn't had to wrench or repair other than maintanance and a crappy true trac diff that cracked.

Can it be done, Yes I have a 10.7 133 mph car that has all its emmission equipment that I can drive to work in bumper to bumper traffic and has made 2 hour trips to track been beaten and driven home.

What does it take, a lot of time and a lot more money.

Would I do it again if I knew what it would take before I started
PROBABLY NOT
