Question How do I SUPERCHARGE?

I want to supercharge my '97 Camaro V6, I was thinking of buying the RKSport Supercharger, that is the only one I can find out there. Are there any more superchargers for my car, is so, who sells them.

Also, what do I need to supercharge my engine, I think I need new headers, pistons, and piston rings, and an aftermarket exhaust to let more air flow out. What exactly do I need to supercharge my engine, all responses are greatly appreciated. Thanks

For what you spend on the blower you can probably move up to an LT1 F-body. It will be as fast or faster than the SC V-6, more reliable, and have a lot more potential.

I have to agree with Rich and you might also want to make this post in the V6 section.

I think we ALL like to mod our car so they are unique and super charging your V6 would be unique.

Having said that, you might find that an investment of time and money in a V6 project may disappoint you when compared to going to a V8 base and moding from there.

just my thoughts although a V8 supercharge project can also get pretty costly.

I would move up to an LT1, but insurance is already killing me just for the V-6, besides gas consumption is also an issue. I also feel that I will get more saying that I can keep up with the big boys in my 3.8, It's just preferance.

I just need to know what to do to my engine so I don't bottom out if I decide to use 9psi or more.
