Any BOV recommendations?

I've finished all of the exhaust for my single turbo project, and now I'm moving on to the intake plumbing.

I'm looking for a BOV that will work in an appox 800rwhp application, and is VERY QUIET.

Any recommendations?

if youwant quiet, you are going to have to go with a routable exhaust BOV. I would probably run 2 greddy type Rs, with rubber line on them.. maybe even some type of muffler on the end of them.

the RIGHT way to do it.. I would get a tial BOV, very nice..priced right.

Yah, Quiet might be a problem. I think most all of them are pretty noisy.

My Tial BOV seems to be working pretty well. Do they make different sizes of them or just 1? I cant remember...

If your worried about the 'whooshing' sound, then as Jordan suggested, the exhuast routed BOV would be the best...but the sound of the BOV is IMO sweet.
I will either be running two Blitz BOV, or the Tial products, both are great quality, and the price is right.

You're going to have to use one that allows routing after the vent...route the vented air back into the air intake and it should be significantly quieter. That is how they do it on factory supras with the bosch style valve

exhaust routed BOV...? you mean where the output is routed back into the intake before the turbo, correct? would it be possible just to use a supercharger bypass valve such as a mondo or would that not work properly on a turbocharged application?

nope, it would work. In case you didn't know im pretty sure that the bosch bypass valve supplied with the base vortech kit is almost identical, if not identical, to the same bypass valve used on the older turbo porsches and in fact on the turbo supras.

the problem with them is they wont be able to hold the airflow or the pressure a high horsepower motor is going to have

Tial makes a great BOV, not sure how quiet it is though...

Tial is nice, but its a procharger style bov.

You could go with a pair of the vortech ones and route them back into the air inlet somehow. Sounds like a lot of trouble to me though.

cmon, you really think people arent going to be able to hear your turbo anyway??

I have NO MUFFLER on my car AT ALL with a 4" downpipe and you hear the turbo screaming over the exhaust. LOL
