I planned on running it where he A/C is, but its tight due to te pass. manifold. Last tight tacked welded up a DP that goes over the k-member on the driver's side. I will be adding a wastgate dump intot the DP tonight and hopefully finishing it up all the welding tonight.

Jon
that was what i was thinking about having on mine...

Run the turbo the opposite way (like flip it so the exhaust housing will be fasing towards the drivers side fender) or have the turbo sitting more to the drivers side and have the downpipe going by the drivers side of the motor and k-member.

so you dont think you will have any clearence issues with anyhting else like the power steering lines and such? If not maybe i will use these manifolds instead of the vortec manifolds (off my 97 truck..)

Only clearance issue I see is the DP, but a few dents made witha hammer and eveything should clear. Check out my new thread I made.

Re: Home-made Turbo Kits

I might as well continue to this thread to since I already posted some pics:

Started the DP. I was going to have it exit on the pass. side originally, then moved it to the dr. side, thats why the dp looks like it does. Cast manny's...T67...2.5 crossover pipes...3" DP. When its done I a selling it or its going up on ebay.
