Help with roots style sc on LT1

i did search (probably no long enough) but i cant find a lot of info on putting a roots/whipple style sc onto an LT1. has anyone here done it? did you modify the stock intake? any help or pics are greatly appreciated!

Alvin from pcmforless did it and I think maybe 1 or 2 others. Not alot of people have accomplished without major fabbing.

thats what i thought. i figure i have about $1000 for the intake and pullies. (i already have the supporting mods). i forgot to to add that it doesnt matter if the stock hood will fit or not, i dont mind putting a cowl on it.

ouch! im trying to figure out if i can use the stock intake or if it has to be all custom.

i found a pic of a custom intake designed for the m112 blower. does anyone have dimesnsions for that blower? im thinking about cutting the top of the lt1 intake off.

Oh yea. . . and what did Alvin switch over to when he got rid of the Eaton? A Vortech.

i know the differences between them. i wanted to see what it would take to make an intake for it. does anyone have a part number for a vortec intake that fits up to a eaton supercharger?
