Help with intake ducting ideas...
Well i know this isnt for a forced induction car but i know you all have to deal with routing/making intake pipe soooo
I have a custom intake manifold for my LT1. My problem is the throttle body sits about 2 1/2-3" inches higher than the stock TB. So i'm trying to figure out what i can use to connect the TB to the maf (stock location to) since the stock elbow wont reach because of the angle/curves. Does anyone have any idea on what i could use to make this? Thanks.

Any pics by chance? What shape is the new throttle body? Oval like the factory or round? I'm just not seeing why the a slight angled piece of tubing fitted into the intake tract won't cure the problem.

Well the damn area is so crampt i'm having to work with. Basically everything is the same as stock except raise the TB about 3 inches. For example you could just angle the stock intake elbow at an angle upward to the TB but in doing so the end that goes onto the TB will be angled and not be long enough... get what i mean.
Sorry no pictures... unless you want me to draw something in MS paint that looks like a 4 year old made it

I can relate to a 4-yr old mentality quite well.
I get what you're saying. The oval throttle body makes everything so much more complicated. Would you have enuff room to raise the rest of the intake tract up the 3" required to hit the throttle body? You can add that into the piping that comes up through the hole on the driver's side (assuming you are running it that way and are using metal tubing).
