Hellfire rings?

I am going to rering my engine and have heard good reviews of these rings. Anyone have 1st hand info. Good or bad, letme hear it please. Any better choices out there? I am going to run 10psi boost on a 8.7 to 1 383ci LT1.
Thanks,
Botch

You really don't need any special kind of ring for what you have planned.

I've had the hellfire rings in my 357 for 9000 miles now, usually running around 20lbs of boost. So far so good.

I've heard they wear the cylinders faster, and aren't really needed until your breaking 1k hp.

I changed to the hellfires because when my car was supercharged, it lost a fuel pump at the track and ran lean. Rattling the motor that one time was enough to break some of the moly coating off of a few of the rings.

So, assuming your engine is always in a good state of tune, they really aren't necessary.
