header pics from TT and single turbo lt1 setups
I would like to see some header pics from TT and single turbo lt1 guys. I'm getting prepared to turn my stroker 383 into a TT setup and would like to see how you guys have fabbed up the headers and other hot parts. I'm especially interested in how you routed the exhaust from the turbo outlet back. I can pretty well picture the headers swept forward, but I'm having a difficult time visualizing the downpipe routing while still being able to change plugs..
Help me out fellas..
Thanks
Dave C.

Free, I wish I was as skilled
. Im thinking about adding boost to my LT1. Right now I have a 355 it makes good power but I want a little more. How conservative are you guys engines to run the turbos. Like compression and what not?
because I have forged probe pistons .030, 6" scat i beam rods, Scat crank, 2 bolt studded, double roller timing chain conversion but my cr is 11:1 could I run boost or would I have to change a few things first?

). That will help.
My engine is an all forged 355, 8.65:1 with competition port trickflow heads flowing 301.x/221.x @ .600 on 2 different benches. I plan to push a T-76 Q trim to it's limit (the .81 a/r turbine housing is probably the bottleneck in my setup).
Just give me the word and I'll send ya the .96 to try...
Thanks for the pics fellas. This does indeed give me a little better idea of routing. I was thinking about routing like the old GN's, but wasn't sure how well it would work out, hence the twins idea instead of one big single.
Thanks again for the pics so far. Keep em coming

You wouldn't happen to have hi res version of the pics on your cardomain site or any other pics of the install would you? It's almost exactly what I'm planning on doing. I'm planning on using a F.A.S.T. ecu though, otherwise VERY similar.
