Ginea Pig for Muffex hard intake
Ginea Pig for Muffex hard intake
Hey I was talking to the mufflex shop about them selling a hard intake for the LT1/Vortech combo, he seems interested and I think they are looking to mock one up, here is the email.
If we can get a good sample we can build these tubes (or a donor car in the
area!)
Thank You

I know Brand X was selling these but they aren't that easy to find anymore. Anybody live by them?

It would be really nice to have these available again. There is definately a demand for them (me being part of the demand). If I was local I'd drop my car off with the supercharger mocked up so they could do it.
I am gonna drop my car off to Denny in January to have a custom Y-pipe made up with no cats. I want a little more ground clearance and better fitment than my current Y-pipe.
I know its not a Vortec but Mabee I can convince him to use my car as a ginea pig to make a custom intake for the ATI-P1SC blower. I know they make a hard intake for some ATIs but You have to use the orange tube. Mabee I can convince him to make something more like the aftermarket vortec setup where you wont need the orange tube at all. I have the design already drawn up in my head, all I have to do is put it down on paper and have him work his magic.
Would any of you guys be interested in this?
If so let me know and mabee I can convince him to mass produce it?
Thx,
Claude
