Engine is a 383 @ 9.0:1 with LE3 LT4 heads and just about everything else and I will be running a P-1Sc @ about 6-8 lbs. I have a racetronix kit already installed with 50# inj. and I was curious if I should go ahead and install the ATI in-line pump.

 

You can never have too much fuel supply.

 

If you are expecting 600 hp or less, and I assume you are, and have the high pressure 255lph pump then no. Your setup will be fine.

 

Well I was hoping and told by the engine builder I could see over 600hp

 

Then I would suggest a more suitable pump that can support the power. Believe what ATI tells you.

 

Are you talking about twin 255's or something else

 

A good single inline pump will get the job done, or you may install the supplemental pump ATI has for the kit.
