Times weren't worth reporting...I am keeping 'em on the low until I get some grudge matches out of the way.

I am just glad we fixed the 6700 rpm shutdown problem that we had been fighting for months...actually John Meaney found the problem and fixed it. I just pushed the gas pedal and my buddy Rodrigues made/designed the bracket for the externally mounted 24-tooth reluctor wheel.

Is that a clone of Matt Harlan's setup?

I saw Harlan's car at Thunder 2 years ago, and he had a similar setup - dual MAFs, stock computer, very groovey .

Looks good!

Not a clone that is it...but I'm running big stuff 3 (s/d) so no mafs or stock computer.

Dang, homer, you've come a long way! Looks very nice. Did you win the lottery or something?

You should PM me some performance info.

Also, how are you launching? Transbrake? 2 step?

Mike

No lottery but I got an academic full ride and decided to work full time anyways just to have fun with the car before joining the 'real world.' Almost every part on the car is used and I tried to spend money wisely so it's not as bad as it looks...lol

Tbrake with the 2 step...although it was actually having cam-sync errors because I'm running an externally mounted 24 tooth reluctor wheel to mimic the stock wheel since mine was losing crank signal at 6700 rpm's...I have since switched to a thicker wheel that won't vibrate and lose sync and I'm going to try it out this weekend. So I was actually launching off the 'cam sync error' lol!

Here's a pic of it:
