The final rebuild.hoping for 650-700rwhp

So i blew the piston rings on my 355 and decided it was time for a major rebuild.Im hoping for 650-700 rwhp with 12-15 psi.Is this realistic??This is also a California smog legal car.Heres the break down on the new motor

ENGINE

lt1 383
lunati crankshaft
lunati H beam rods
-31cc srp professional pistons
afr 195 eliminator heads hand ported (intake 300cfm/240 cfm exhuast)
Lt1 port matched intake manifold
custom blower cam 223/235 .610/.629 114

Power Adder

vortech v7 Ys trim
cog pulleys
Vortech aftercooler
Snow performance stage 2 methonal injection

I am still using the lt1 pcm.Any guess on what i should be making????

Looks good. I'd go with a JE piston or similar 2618 forged piston. The SRP are good but seem best at 10 psi and under.
I think you are going to need way more then 12-15psi to make 700rw.

i called je to ask about that and they said these will handle 18 psi no problem as long as the tune is on point and wouldnt recommend switching over sense i already have these.Ive seen a couple lt1 make 700rwhp+ with 12-15 lbs with the same blower as mine so im hoping for the best but ill be happy with 650

I don't think you can just swap your stock stroke pistons over the longer 3.75 stroke. Might want to check on that.

I'd look into upgrading the aftercooler's heat exchanger and tank if you haven't already but you should have no problem making 650-700 rwhp with that head unit assuming everything else is up to the task.

Nice pieces on the bottom end. What compression ratio are you seeking? I would try to keep it in the 9.0 area. You'll have a stronger low rpm response that way. I have 8.5 and it's a bit soggy just off idle. I can run quite a bit of boost with the low compression but you have to stay in the throttle to get the benefit. On the freeways it's a monster, at stoplights, not so much.

That's quite the cam you have. Whom did you have to spec it? Looking forward to seeing your posts on how she runs.

Re: The final rebuild.hoping for 650-700rwhp

i should be at 9:2 compression. The cam was specd by lloyd elliot.I had to buy morel link bar lifters and 160lb seat and 480 lbs open springs just to handle this cam.Its suppose to have similar ramp speeds to a solid roller cam.My old motor had a 219/229 555. 555. 111.5 so im excited at the gains i should be getting over the previous cam that was in there

Hey did you ever dyno or 1/4 mile your old setup? Curious cause it's similar to mine, but I never made it to the track before dropping a valve. Did you run an intercooler? I had meth

i always ran into problems so no clean dyno.the most it made was 480rwhp 455 rwtq running out of fuel at 12lbs of boost.Thats through an automatic transmission

That's pretty nice. Was that with the 100 shot? When I had the powerdyne and 100 shot I ran a best of 7.42 on about 7 psi. Then I swapped the vortech in and it was definitely quicker but never made it
