Dyno numbers for the JY twin turbos
Dyno numbers for the JY twin turbos
Took the twins to a local chassis dyno to see what it is doing.
Running fat (but safe
), pulling 1 deg per psi of boost, air temp 91 deg, no airflow over the intercoolers.
My car is running a T350, so no lockup to help the HP numbers..
405 rwhp @ 6500 rpm
513 rwtq @ 3000 rpm
Average torque was 409.5, average hp was 315.4.
Nice smooth power curve, still climbing at 6500 rpm, but didn't want to twist the stock motor any higher. Average boost on the street is 11.8, I don't know what it showed on the pass.
Drove it there and back, still running fine.
Now for those LT4 heads and intake, and a solid roller cam!
