Do you think this cam is hurting my power for my Blown LT1?

Here's my current setup;

383 LT1 (Lunati Sledgehammer Crank, Oliver Billett rods, custom Diamond pistons)
TPIS CNC LT1 AFR 180 heads
Custom Camshaft 244/254 @ .050, .578/.578 lift, 114* LSA
Hand ported intake manifold
Hooker Long Tubes
Hooker Y-Pipe
Borla Cat-Back
Lingenfelter 58mm TB (the gigantic brick one)
60# Injectors
M6 w/Moser 12 bolt and 3.73's
EPP Custom FMIC setup
D1SC (15.7 #'s of boost)
(End dyno #'s in my sig)

Looking for technical expertise here. I know my cam is a monster, my question is; Is my cam hurting my power since it is so big? Or, is there another cam that may produce more power with my application?

I doubt it's hurting you. If anything, the heads are too small.

What rpm is your blower set to max at? What rpm is that peak power at? Is it still rising? Is the AF ratio good? Do you know your IAT's? What plugs are you using? Are the wires and plugs in good condition? And so on.

I'd say the heads and cam are hurting you. SchurtersLt1 just made 690rwhp with a t-trim @ 15psi and 355ci. The major difference was a custom blower cam and AFR210's. Thats 100rwhp more than your setup.

The boost numbers don't mean much when comparing set ups its all about how hard you spin the blower, In the end its all about CFM not PSI. its obvios that he has restriction and its probably the heads. I run a similar cam and it works great on my car but its not at 114LSA

Yeah, I know if I had a set of newly fully ported Trick Flows I would gain probably another 80+ hp to the car, however heads are expensive, and a cam is much cheaper. So the question remains; is my cam hurting my HP? Or is there a different grind cam that would give me more? My motor shop supposedly spec'd out the cam from the flow #'s from my heads, and the specs from my pistons.

BTW, the motor can take over 7,000 RPM, it was dyno'd at 590 at 6300 (for some reason the dyno woulnd't take any readings over 6300. So the blower has room left. It was still making more and more power up until we let off at 6,300. AF was still good (11.8 I think) IAT's never got above 125, the plugs and wires are both brand new.

The cam is not hurting you. A big Cam like that is a way some builders try to get around poor flowing heads. I think your engine guy knows what he is doing and he came up with this based on your needs. I think it would make more power on a tighter LSA but thats just me.

With the dyno data ending at 6,300 it really can't be said for sure. If the car is street driven I suspect that pullying the blower UP, so that it peaks at lower rpm and using a SMALLER cam would result in a bit more hp and much more mid-range torque. IOW, make the car faster and more fun. I have "been there...done that" so it's not just theory when I speak about the superiority of that type of setup. Remember, no matter what (with the exception of eliminating inlet restriction) you blower has a fixed out put. When you spin the motor higher, it does NOT move more air beyond the blower's max output. It just generates more heat, noise, and friction.

Put a good set of heads on it and it will make more than enough power.
Mine combo is very similiar to yours except the heads. D1/YSi
3450 raceweight 8.92 154mph.

What valve spring are you using to be able to handle 7K rpm's?
