C16 is race gas (much higher octane). By running this you lessen the chance for detonation. Methonal injection simply will help keep things cooler, also decreasing the chances for detonation.

If you want over 700 to the wheels, you will find it easier going with either the YSi from Vortec, or the F1 from ATI. Then I would also recommend using a new engine management system such as a FAST system.

Feel free to buy the C16 if you want. But if you are running methonal injection, with a FAST system, and a decent size intercooler, + either of the previous superchargers, you should not have any problem reaching your goal of 700 to the wheels.

Thats my suggestion. Rich has a plethera of knowledge I can only one day hope to acheive, so he will know best.

I thought he was asking about running straight methanol. I agree with the utility of water/methanol injection. But if he's talking about extremely high boost/hi-po pump gas isn't going to do it, even with water/methanol injection.
