No. Reason being is that boost is simply a measure of restriction in the engine. The bigger the cubes, better flowing heads, intake, and exhaust, the less restriction there is. Hence, less boost.

Now, that's not saying that you will be making less power because you are running less boost. You will be making more power, but more efficiently.

My 406 D1-SC has a pulley for 15# and I could only get 13# out of her at 6500rpm. So it does have to do with how efficient your motor is.

The D1SC can usually, not always, be pullied down to match the airflow of the P1SC for a particular system.

Can you get us a GP on upgrading to the D1SC? My P1SC has got alot of miles on it now and I'm ready to upgrade.

No, unfortunately not. ATI isn't set up for that, and it isn't a discountable operation.
