List your goals too, more people will answer this post if you do.

My vote is turbo .

Re: Supercharger or Turbo?

In general, a SC will be cheaper and easier to install and tune. Turbos usually make more power pound for pound of boost, and have a more broad torque curve when the boost hits.

Most power is subjective though.... either a PT-94 turbo or F1R supercharger will support more power than a LT or LS block will support. But the SSO cars are showing turbos to be superior on the track (average ETs dropped close to a second within a season of turbos hitting the scene).

This subject has started more pissing matches on this site than even the old "lt1 versus ls1" threads... plenty of info on here with a search. But IMO, if you're planning to make no more than 6-800rwhp in a street car, just get a SC and be done with it. It's almost too easy that way with a built engine. After that, a turbo will be better suited for your needs (again, just my opinion based on install/tuning problems and street adjustability).
