Crankcase breather, may have found my issue

I've tried a number of setups for routing hoses to help relieve crankcase pressure with boost. The front and rear of the oil pan are have decent leaks, where as it used to barely leave residue. I noticed that my little K&N breather from the valve cover would leave oil debris where ever it was routed. I have the PCV routed to the intake side of the blower, and capped the intake manifold (just reducing a spot for boost leak).

Well, I put a catch can on it (eBay cheapo kit) in between the PCV and the inlet blower port and the first thing i noticed with the supplied clear lines, is that there was no movement. There isn't enough suction there I guess. I capped that off, and moved it to the passenger TB port, and now it seems to be working. I change my oil religiously (500-1000 miles), and I'm thinking the previous setup may have been the reason the oil smells contaminated so quickly. Crossing my fingers this helps, tired of cleaning the bottom of the pan every couple hundred miles.

your pcv system in factory form will fill the block with pressure when you add forced induction. trust me i pushed out intake gaskets like this... i removed it and put in breathers, problem solved...

I tried alot of crankcase vent methods. None worked good for me except, an external crank driven vac pump mod.

This worked the best. I know... Lots of fabrication. Guess I like doing it, and, experimentation. I don't see many F_body 4th gens with this mod.

I got lots of blow-by with FI without a negative crankcase pressure. Engine ran dirty w/o a negative pressure. Now, no problems with leaks on the rear main and front pan seal. Also, a lot more cylinder pressure for added performance. (97ss 383-D1 MM6 street driven).
The other mod that added alot of performance was converting to evans waterless cooling media.
The experiment continues.
