Congrats Brady McNew & Crew

Congrats to Brady and Team ***** Racing for being chosen to run in the World Street Race this weekend. A special thanks to MADMAN RACING / JBZ Race Cars for coming through for us and helping get the car ready in time. Picking up a motor in Houston and driving to Alabama to install it at midnight for a race the next day, is definitely taking care of your customers.... A++++

We were delt a tough hit first rattle out the box, when they had us change the 315/60 BFG's to a brand new set of 295's. The new tires seemed a little slippery and the 60 fts showed it. The car is still skating a little on the big end, but MADMAN has built a wing for the car (that looks bad ***) should help keep some down force on the rear. We were put out in the second round. In Qualifying, Brady was able to pedal the car down the track to a personal best of 8.77 @ 162 mph, which is not a slouchy time shaking it down.
Keep in mind that this is on pump gas with 11* timing in the motor!!!

Extremely impressive guys and big ups to Brian for taking care of the crew. Look forward to seeing the car run in person again.

We won the first round, but got put out in the second. Brady was trying to stage the car and when he matted it the transbrake didn't hold aaannnnnddd... zoom he was gone. I would loved to have that time slip, I know he had to be 170+ mph, that mug was flyin'!!!!

Don't know, I just remember him making that statement when we decided to put the BBC in the silver car. I guess he didn't know who my chassis guy was

The week before the race, during a shake down pass, the hood blew up, shattered the windshield, and broke the hood all up. We didn't have time to get another hood, so MADMAN riveted the hood together the night before the race and covered them with bandaids.... funny ****

Look close at the pic...

Roll into the local Arby's unless it was on a trailer. You seem to have one of maybe two or three "street" cars there.

Re: Congrats Brady McNew & Crew

They claimed we needed 3.5MM of tread depth. We had 1.5MM so they said it was an advantage. Thats OK we are on the MT Drag Radials now so the numbers will be better.
