what size cone filters is everyone running on there blown cars? i think mine is 6-9inches long and 3.5inlet for the pipes to connect up too. would it do anything if i went bigger?

 

9" with a 3.5 opening. 7" is stock on Procharger Kits. I wondered if I should go smaller to help create vacuum in the intake tube. Don't know if it will fit the s-trim intake.

 

Put the biggest filter on that will fit. Any restriction here will significantly limit your boost. Also look at the Green filters, they have a slightly stiffer construction & seem to resist collapsing better than the K&N.

 

only thing is when you go longer won't that increase the inside diamater? it would be hard to find something to connect the filter to then.
