Changing pulleys do I need to adj. By pass valve?
I started with a 8# setup.(procharger P600B Twin IC) Now I am setup to run 12# do I need to adj the spring in the stock ATI by pass valve? Will it bleed off after 8#? I am not sure how this works. Can someone please fill me in on this Thanks....John
Re: Changing pulleys do I need to adj. By pass valve?
my understanding is that the bypass operates by vacuum and only has a diaphragm. I'm not adjusting mine as I just put 12lb pullies on so I hope I know what I'm talking about! It shouldnt be an issue

I run two of these bypasses venting to the atmosphere and they are just fine.

You don't need to adjust it. It only opens under vacuum. It's not a wastegate like a turbo. ATI claims their valves are good up to the F1 series, then you need the race series.
